How old were they, maybe they were carbon tracked & that was causing the misfires.
Did ya change or clean them?

Came with the jeep, but not terribly old. Changed to new ones. Problem unchanged.

Ok, I had a friend of mine put it on his computer, and the "open number 3" wasn't on the coil pack side, it's an open injector circuit. The plug is in the injector tight, the wires are in good, and it still comes and goes. Number 5 and number 3 still have misfire codes too. one misfire is constant, one is intermittant. Dodge service tech friend told me to take it a shop here with full computers, not just obd2 readers. 62 bucks for a full diagnostic with a guaranteed diagnosis or no charge. I'm gonna end up doing it I think. I just missed pver a month of work, and I can't afford to diagnose by changing parts.

Hopefully they can track it down, the crank sensor tells the injectors to fire as well as the coil packs.
No diagnosis no pay sounds good to me, most shops charge just to hook it up
good luck
